Curant Health has an outstanding Pharmacy Star Rating

The Story

One of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) most important goals is to improve the quality of care and general health status for Medicare beneficiaries.

CMS uses a five-star quality rating system to evaluate plans on unique quality and performance measures.

Each plan receives an overall star rating, based on the plan’s performance as a whole AND separate star ratings based on each individual category reviewed.

Medicare Drug Plans are measured on items from four categories.

Our Pharmacy Star Rating is a quantifiable reflection of our focus on personalized medication management.

By The Numbers

2 – The Medicare plans that receive Star Ratings are assigned to Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D Plans).

2 – The goals of this quality rating system
(1) act as an incentive program for plan directors, as a portion of each plan’s payment is ties to its star rating score and (2) help plan members make informed comparisons of available plans.

5 – Ratings range from 1 to 5 stars
5 stars is the highest rating that a plan or an individual measure can receive

4 – Categories evaluated for Medicare Drug Plans 1) drug plan customer service, (2) member complaints, (3) member experience with the drug plan and (4) drug pricing and patient safety.

Our personalized medication management approach works.
